True to its name, Breath of Paradise is a villa you exhale into. It runs along a single floor in the hills above Haad Yao, so there are no stairs between you and the view — just white, light-filled rooms, an infinity pool tipping toward the Gulf of Thailand, and a horizon that goes on and on. The sea is simply there, from the first coffee of the day to the last swim of the evening.
The setting is quietly connected. The island's best-known beaches, the buzz of Srithanu and Hin Kong, and the wide curve of Chaloklum Bay are all close by; some of Koh Phangan's most loved yoga and wellness studios sit just up the road; and the main town is a relaxed twenty-minute drive when you need it. Seclusion when you want it, everything within reach when you don't.
Three bedrooms line the villa, each one bright and generous under a high ceiling, each with a king bed, air conditioning and a wall fan, and each opening through full-height glass straight onto the deck with the sea laid out in front. Two have their own rain-shower en-suites — one built around a sculptural freestanding tub — and a third bathroom in the same soft grey stone, lit by modern LED mirrors, looks after everyone else.
The living and dining area is one easy, open room: a deep sofa and a 65" TV at one end, a long wooden table for eight, and a kitchen with an island and bar stools, an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and a full-size fridge. Slide the glass doors away and it flows straight into the deck. There's even a proper office — desk, ergonomic chair and monitor — that becomes a fifth place to sleep on a convertible sofa, which remote workers and larger families tend to love.
The deck is where the days drift. The infinity pool draws the eye straight out over the gulf, backed by a sand-washed terrace of sunbeds and a fan-cooled dining nook with shade for the fiercest part of the afternoon. And when stillness isn't enough, there's an open-air gym corner and a table-tennis table waiting — this is a villa that rewards staying put for a good while.
